Our products and services Installation For £65 we can visit the individual's home and fit the unit. We explain and show the customer how to use the equipment. For £40 it can be collected and fitted by the customer or their family/carers. We can be available by phone to help. For £40 we can drop it off at the individual's property. Equipment & Services The basic pendant – fitted on the wrist or around the neck is £5.29 weekly (£23 monthly). In the unlikely event of any issues with the equipment we will update or replace them – if the equipment is lost there is a charge. We can offer packages of support including: Regular (daily/weekly) calls to check the client is OK at £1.00 a call. Additional equipment is available for purchase – smoke detectors/falls detectors, wanderer alerts, ask about or packages. Equipment that can help includes: Keysafes - Installed outside the front/back door, they allow people that have prior permission to access to the key to the home if the client struggles to get to the door. Typically, people tell carers, family / friends the personal code and they can use the keysafe box to access the house key and come into the home without the client having to get up. Carelink can keep details of the code and if emergency services are needed, Carelink can tell whoever attends the code, ensuring the client can get help quickly but also without doors having to be broken into. We can provide and install the keysafe and the keysafes we use meet tough safety standards and are police approved. Smoke Detector – Linked directly to our monitoring centre if a fire starts we will be informed and we can contact the customer to clarify if it’s a false alarm, or call the fire brigade to manage the fire. Impact detector – When the device records an impact the detector will contact our monitoring centre and we can check if the customer is Ok and arrange to get help if necessary. This is useful for people with memory issues who can forget to press their pendant if they fall. Wanderer alert – A device for individuals with memory problems who go out at all times and may get lost. They are attached to the front and back door which if opened will notify our monitoring centre and we can check if the person leaving is Ok and notify family who can check on them. Pill dispenser – For individuals who get confused taking their tablets. Like a blister pack, the tablets are put into the device by a designated person in set day / time sequences and an alarm sounds to remind them to take the tablets for that day. If they are not taken then the monitoring centre is notified and we can prompt the client to take their tablets. Epilepsy sensor – Specifically designed for those with epilepsy, it will monitor if a person is having a seizure and inform the control centre who can check if the person needs any further assistance. Flood Sensor – Is placed beside the bath or sinks and will sound an alarm if water spills over. Useful for people with dementia / memory issues who may turn on taps and then forget to turn them off. It can reduce the impact of flooding occurring in the home. Contact Us Manage Cookie Preferences
